FOOTBALL: Bridgman Independent in 2010. No Conference Games.
7/12/2010

The Bridgman Varsity Football team will be playing all non-conference games in the 2010 season. Even games against Lakeland Conference teams will be considered non-conference. Bridgman's independent schedule is part of a plan to help the team rebuild their football program and to allow other Lakeland teams to schedule more competitive teams in preparation for the post season.

It is unknown at this time what Bridgman's plans are for the future; stay independent, join a different conference for football, or return to the Lakeland Conference. Future decisions will be made depending on how well Bridgman's football program progresses down the road.

Bridgman will remain a member of the Lakeland Conference in all other sports.
